How to create and Burn iPhoto Slideshow on DVD!
Slideshows are one of the best ways to give any group presentation and there are several programs out there that are capable to create slideshows using all the pictures as well as contents written. Microsoft PowerPoint is a very good slideshow creator. However for Mac, the Mac’s Photograph program called iPhoto is used. Using iPhoto you can store large volume of pictures and also create a slideshow and share them to other people.
How to create iPhoto Slideshow?
It’s very easy to create iPhoto slideshow. To do this you should follow these steps:
- Install iPhoto if you don’t have.
- Import the photos in the iPhoto library (if it’s a fresh installation of iPhoto)
- Open iPhoto
- Create and name an iPhoto Album
- Click on the file in the top menu bar and choose New Album
- Press the create button
- Select the pictures that you want to show in the slideshow. Here you can drag an entire group of photos from events into the album just by using your cursor. Alternatively you can select them one by one and drop them in the photos tab in the left hand menu bar.
- Now click on the “slideshow” once the pictures are in the order you want them to run.
- Choose a theme and to do this click on the themes. There are six different themes to choose from: Classic, Ken Burns, Scrapbook, Shatter, Sliding Panels and Snapshots
- Optionally you can also choose the music for your slideshow. Select the “Music”. By default there are six songs provided by iPhoto. If you want more then you can choose the music from iTunes Library present on your computer.Once choosing the desired file, check the box “Play Music during Slideshow” and click on Apply
- Adjust the slideshow settings as per your requirements. There are several things that you can do including transition speed adjustment, caption display, slideshow title, photo scaling to full screen, aspect ratio etc.
How to burn iPhoto Slideshow in CD/DVD?
Once you have created the iPhoto Slideshow, you can burn them on CD/DVD as per your need. The steps are:
- Click on the “share” from the menu at the top followed by “Burn” and now insert the Blank CD or DVD and click on OK.
- Click on the “Burn” button at the bottom of the iPhoto window and then click on “Burn” in the pop-up window. When the burn process is completed, it will be automatically ejected.
- Once done quit iPhoto by pressing Command+Q key.
Now whenever you want to show the photos, you have a better way to present them using the iPhoto Slideshow.
